Simply prompt casepal naturally, and it will reason through the optimal research strategy, determining when to search your library and when to search external sources.

Library Picker Across the Suite

Select files directly from your synced library through the Library Picker in Assistant and across the casepal suite of tools.

This feature eliminates redundant uploads and enables you to quickly contextualize your work with relevant firm documents. You can select up to 25 library documents per query in Assistant, seamlessly integrating your institutional knowledge into every analysis.

After significantly expanding the capacity of casepal Assistant and the suite of tools, we have now reduced upload processing times by 5x.

Now, casepal processes documents - even those requiring OCR - faster and more effectively, enabling you to begin analysis immediately. Whether you're working with scanned contracts, image-based PDFs, or extensive discovery materials, you'll experience substantially reduced wait times from upload to analysis.

Stop Reasoning Button

You can now interrupt casepal during the reasoning phase to add additional context before the Assistant begins generating output.

This feature gives you greater control over the research process, particularly valuable when leveraging Agentic Legal Research. If you notice that additional context would improve the analysis, you can quickly stop the reasoning process, provide the supplementary information, and allow casepal to incorporate it into a more comprehensive response.
